Goodmorning tumblr friends!
The making of costumes has been a form of art which has been -and still is- the skillfull job of thousands of taylors and others. Romans made togas, medieval courts needed costumes for banquets, festivals and tournaments, during the Renaissance beautiful costumes were needed for concerts, receptions and partys, Victorian and Edwardian costumes are wellknown as well as the Roarin Twenties and Vaudeville etc..
While drinking coffee I like to have a brief look at them.
