It is becoming a habit on my blog to have a glance at fashion on saturdays; As last week I looked at the work of Irving Penn, Alice Berg a.o.today I like to show you other brilliant photographers such as mario Sorrenti,, Richard Avedon, Jan Welters Natalie Goldberg bert Stern
, William Klein and many others.
Some of them are pure vintage, others still are working.Lots of celebrities, especially from the music & filmworld had their pictures eternalized by them, as
many of these photographers were also active outside the fashion world.
Their work is absolutely amazing and a joy to look at.

Goodmorning folks! Thanks for following me and your number is growing steadily. to be skinny is NOT to be perfect
It scares me to see blogs where girls write that now they start slimming in order to become perfect.
There are a number of indications why: the world of fashion is one of them, though there are exceptions such as the worldfamous Tyra Banks who doesn’t promote skinny models . Then there is the world of advertising parading skinny females as stereotypes. Also public opinion has an influence not to be underestimated. Males prefer skinny girls… Well. Lots of them don’t. If they do it could be psychological: weak, frail girls versus strong muscled men. Stereotypes too.
The most dangerous aspect of skinnyness is the road of anorexia: unhealthy slimming such as fastening, puking, pills…It often has desastrous results and the way out can be painfull.
People should always be ready to help if they noti ce such tendencies.
Do they? Unfortunately not….

Chinese fashion: unbelievable inventive
Coffee & China do not seem to fit each other…However I enjoy my coffee while being totally taken by the creativity found in Chinese fashion. As is usual when watching such fashion shows the point is not to start selling the creative products in question but rather to ENHANCE the believe that these fashion houses just have what you are looking for, e.g. originality, certain textiles, combinations of colours and designs,etc.p>
